We’ve joined the German label Prophecy Productions

We’re proud to announce that we’ve been signed by the German record label, Prophecy Productions. This is a label we’ve greatly admired for some years and some of their artists are amongst our favorite bands so this is an enormous honor. I want to say that it was about two years ago that we made this decision and that Prophecy was our #1 choice when it came time to submit our music. If you are unfamiliar with them and you have been following us for some time, we hope you will agree that this is the most appropriate home for us. See their mission statement: http://en.prophecy.de/about-us/

As many of you know, we’ve been fiercely DIY since the beginning about 6 years ago. Despite this, we’ve prided ourselves on making the highest quality music/packaging/limited editions/etc that we were capable of. Along with this, we’ve always maintained since day 1 that we will never limit ourselves artistically and we frequently bridge genres & sounds to create something that is (hopefully) uniquely 1476—or at least that’s what we strive for! We let you be the judge. One of the reasons we love Prophecy is because of their belief in the freedom of the artist to develop as they see fit—and they make absolutely fantastic special editions for many of their artists (including hardcover books, box sets, and some very personalized items). Once again, if you are unfamiliar, we highly recommend going through their artists on the website and checking out some of these beautiful artifacts.

As we get closer to the weekend, we will be sending out a newsletter with all the details of how this came about as well as outlining our plans for the year. But what’s important to mention now is that Smoke In The Sky, Wildwood, The Nightside, and Edgar Allan Poe: A Life Of Hope & Despair will be rereleased by Prophecy this summer. Once again, we’ll get into the details of this in the upcoming newsletter. What this means though is that our Seraphim House editions of these releases will not be available much longer. So, if you want them, now’s the time. If you’re interested in the newsletter/mailing list and not yet signed up, you can do so on this website…somewhere. I don’t exactly know yet because the site is new. For those of you that have been with us over the years, welcome to the new site designed by Alexandria Noel of course. The new imagery here is related to our upcoming album Our Season Draws Near (to be released around winter if all goes according to plan). For those of you that may be new, welcome also and we hope you enjoy what you find.

Finally, for those of you that have been with us over the years, we cannot thank you enough for your support, kindness, belief in us, friendship in some cases, and outright fanaticism in other cases. There have been many times over the years where it’s been almost impossible to push forward for many different reasons. There have been so many times where we’ve wondered both together and separately where we’re going and what we’re doing with our lives. And it seems like every time we felt this way, without even knowing it one of you would write us a very moving private message. This would literally carry us forward every time and help us refocus. We truly cannot thank you enough for this and we DO NOT thank you enough for this so we want you to know right now. We would also like thank Stefan and Prophecy for giving us this chance and Andy Julia from Soror Dolorosa for unexpectedly providing the path. Also, a final huge thank you to our partners, families, and teachers.

Our hats off to you all,

Robb & Neil
